Custom Furniture
Did you know we can work with you on projects involving custom furniture? Case in point: here are a few photos of a custom project we have in the works.
The client on this project has a sofa and chairs that are very formal and ornate that she purchased years ago. She was looking to fill a void in a living room that required a large piece of furniture and some color. Finding it difficult to find something that matched and “fit”, she came to us. We decided constructing a custom chaise lounge made with the same detail as her existing furniture was an excellent way to meet the goals of this particular room!
To further enhance the space, we went on to create custom dining room table bases along with a card table and chairs. Completed photos will be posted here on our blog so keep following!

ASID Community Services Project
Designer Runway Results
The Orange County ASID Designer Runway was a success! We were blown away with what all the teams came up with. So creative!
Our team was led by Anita Jacobi and included Judy’s Custom Workroom’s Elizabeth Bradford (model), Lupe Ortiz, and artist Georgeana Ireland. We had to come up with a concept beforehand, but we had no idea what colors, patterns, or types of fabrics we would be given to work with (in just 90 minutes!) until we got to the design center. We found inspiration in Ke$ha and hoped to be given edgy modern fabrics. Of course we were given beautiful feminine fabrics from Kravet, so it was even more of a challenge creating a rebellious”Ke$ha” look!
TEAM CONCEPT: “Our inspiration came from the music artist Ke$ha and her song ‘We R Who We R’. Ke$ha’s rebellious grungy-chic flare shows us there are no rules when it comes to fashion. Her song is all about being confident with your personal style and making a statement. You are who you are, so own it!”
For our first time participating, we were pretty proud of ourselves. We had a great time and thank all the sponsors, volunteers, celebrity judges, and those who came out to support Working Wardrobes. If you did not make it this year, you will have to attend next year’s event! So much fun!
