Spotlight on Barbara Barry’s Indochine
We are loving Barbara Barry’s Indochine collection for Kravet. The fabrics, trimmings, carpet, and drapery hardware are inspired by the colors, textures and patterns of Asia. Check out the video above to hear about the designers travels and design philosophy.
We love using these rich and luxurious fabrics. While the collection is Asian-inspired, the fabrics can definitely be used in both contemporary and traditional spaces. We are currently making beautiful pillows for a client using “Tambour Stitch – Mica” The detail on the this pattern is stunning.

Clarke and Clarke Sneak Peak
Duralee, one of the largest textile companies in the U.S., has partnered with Clarke & Clarke, a U.K. based fabric and wallcoverings editor to be the exclusive distributor for their products in the United States. The Clarke & Clarke product is now completely distributed worldwide.
Last week we had the opportunity to meet Duncan Clarke from Clarke & Clarke as a part of the Stonemill Design Center’s fall event, “Fall Into Stonemill”. He talked about the development of the company and gave us a sneak peak of the upcoming fabric and wallcovering collections coming to the US in January 2012!

We just can’t get enough of Lilly! The new Lee Jofa fabrics channel a carefree life of leisure with a dose of fun. The happy prints created by Stephen Elrod, creative director of Lee Jofa, are full of bold florals, incredible vibrant combinations and wonderful details. The entire collection of prints, solids and trims is terrific, whether you decide to go all out with the prints or do white upholstery with pops of color.
