Pindler’s NEW Big Sky Collection

Pindler is proud to present our new Exclusive Big Sky Collection. This collection is an authentic Southwestern grouping that gets its inspiration from classic design icons of the American Indian culture. Known for their use of simple geometry of symbolic design, much of their textiles incorporated the art of balance within nature. These fabrics are reminiscent of vintage serape stripes, blankets, and hand-woven textiles. The patterns in the Big Sky Collection are exclusive to Pindler and have been colored in updated desert tones and classic Southwest colors with subtle accent colors. The Big Sky Collection is a selection of seven designs that each meet a minimum of 30,000 double rubs.

Get Reacquainted with Bailey & Griffin

With the purchase of the B. Berger family of brands in the summer of 2012, Duralee acquired the 90-year-old archives of the luxury fabric brand Bailey & Griffin.  While combing through decades of artwork, fabric and wallcovering designs, it became evident to the Duralee executives that the prestige of the Bailey & Griffin product was not to be ignored.  Hence, they are pleased to have revived this iconic line of refined high-end fabrics for the distinguished home.

American Made…
Hand-screened on high-quality ground cloths in the same Rhode Island mill that Bailey & Griffin had been using for decades, the fabrics of the new Bailey & Griffin collection follow in the footsteps of its sought-after predecessors. This intricate printing process ensures attention to detail and a level of color saturation that cannot be achieved by other printing methods.  The Bailey & Griffin designers are committed to keeping the production of this product here in the United States.

Awash in color…
Bold, saturated, statement-making color is a signature of the new Bailey & Griffin product line. With roots in European palettes, the color range of Bailey & Griffin fabrics reflect today’s market trends and maintain an upbeat, energetic appeal. For design schemes that call for a more understated approach, the collection also contains a selection of neutrals that stand in contrast to the more saturated hues, as well as coordinated wovens to complete the room.

Nate Berkus Color – Volume II from Fabricut

“I believe your home is one of your greatest reflections. It should tell your story; what you love, collected and assembled in one space. Fabric is so versatile because it can become whatever you imagine it to be.” – Nate Berkus

Renowned designer Nate Berkus launches a second collection of interior fabrics through Fabricut, Nate Berkus Color – Volume II. Divided into three distinct color stories, Canyon, Gemstone and Tuxedo, this collection boasts a range of patterns and textures all meant to be layered into one’s home.

“Your home should tell your story. With this collection I wanted to reach for what felt really crisp and fresh like coral and citron, and balanced it with what’s classic like black and white, and navy and black,” says Nate.

Inspired by Nate’s love of travel and interest in fashion, film vintage and history, his collections always feel assembled over time. Layered, textured and decidedly timeless, Nate Berkus Color – Volume II is designed to work within any interior space – traditional, transitional or modern.

Pindler Presents: Newport Mansions Doris Duke.

Pindler’s Newport Mansions Doris Duke™ Indoor/Outdoor Collection is an eclectic assortment of exotic patterns inspired by the batiks, sarongs, kimonos, and personal gatherings of an iconic world traveler, Doris Duke. Doris Duke had a passion for hand crafted textiles from around the globe, which we have illustrated with this group.

For this collection, our inspirations were found in the archives at Doris Duke’s Rough Point estate in Newport, Rhode Island.  We were excited to discover a trunk filled with artisan indigo hand woven textiles all dyed with indigo using century old techniques, collected during her travels in various countries around the world.  Each document has an interesting story and unique process to how it was made.  We have interpreted the original batiks into a performance Indoor-Outdoor story all woven with 100% solution dyed acrylic.

Solution dyed all-weather acrylic is the perfect performance fabric for casual indoor and outdoor living. Solution-dyed acrylic is durable, resists moisture, fading and mildew, while its also beautiful, breathable, and feels soft and comfortable to the touch.
