Casamance Fabrics: Install Photos

More of our reps are coming in to show us their new lines!

The latest was Casamance. Casamance is a French textile company that “takes its inspiration from the love of beauty : the modernity of the exclusive designs is enhanced by the colours, an elaborate exercise in subtlety by and for the brand. Classic designs, renewed to attain the height of design, the brand creates unexpected affinities, endlessly reinventing sophistication.”

They showed us some of their newest  unique, colorful patterns and interesting textures!

Casamance makes a variety of multi-use fabrics, but we were especially loving the drapery weight patterns we were seeing! Lucky for us, Casamance gives us high quality photos of the fabrics installed! So helpful for clients who have a hard time imagining…

All the fabrics in these photos (drapery, upholstery, pillows, bedding) are Casamance. Enjoy!

This velvet upholstery pattern is one of our favorites!

LARGE Prints from RM Coco!

Make a big impact on your space with these large prints from RM Coco!

Our wonderful rep from RM Coco came in recently to show us fabrics from their new “Coco Luxe” collection. It is sometimes difficult to find the perfect LARGE-scale pattern, but we were definitely impressed with these! The collection includes vibrant, whimsical patterns and more elegant embroideries on linen.

We would love to create drapery using these beautiful embroidered fabrics!

Each of these patterns come in several colorways. These are just a few of the fabrics from the Coco Luxe collection, so we encourage you to take a look at everything RM Coco has to offer.

Go big or go home? Go home and GO BIG! : )

Loving Leliévre

Thank you to a Stark for hosting a wonderful event last week! We had the pleasure of being invited to a designer brunch to view the newest Leliévre collections presented by managing director Emmanuel Lelievre and director of international Sales, Catherine De Masin.

Below are some of the bright colors and fun embroideries of the new 2012 Lievre collection.

The new Leliévre & Stark Sonia Rykiel home décor line  was also shown.

The French fashion designer’s collection features a piqué embossed with Sonia Rykiel’s signiture “SR”, large scale houndstooths and woven jacquards with handwriting and flowers.

Lastly, Catherine and Emmanel went over the Tassinari & Chatel fabrics for Leliévre.

Below are some fabrics from the Tassinari & Chatel: Exception collection, some of the most prestigious from their archives. Formerly woven on hand looms which we have often been requested to re-weave. The designs have been transposed from hand loom to mechanical loom to make them more accessible both in price and in production time. Thus making it more possible to propose them for prestigious projects without losing anything of their exclusive and authentic character.

Below an archive and reproduction of a textile made for Marie-Antoinette in the Palace of Versailles

Here are some more beautiful intricate woven archive fabrics with gold thread.

We were so inspired by all of the new (and old!) fabrics we were presented. A big thank you to the Stark Showroom at SOCO for hosting!

Spotlight on Barbara Barry’s Indochine

“I’m not just in love with design, I’m in love with the world, in which design is everything.”

We are loving Barbara Barry’s Indochine collection for Kravet. The fabrics, trimmings, carpet, and drapery hardware are inspired by the colors, textures and patterns of Asia. Check out the video above to hear about the designers travels and design philosophy.

We love using these rich and luxurious fabrics. While the collection is Asian-inspired, the fabrics can definitely be used in both contemporary and traditional spaces.  We are currently making beautiful pillows for a client using “Tambour Stitch – Mica” The detail on the this pattern is stunning.

Sample books we have here in our library at Judy’s Custom Workroom: “Golden Fig”, “Silver Lotus”, and “Lacquer Blanc de Chine”

Drapery hardware. Excited to use this collection for a current client!

We hope to see more designs from Barbara Barry in the future.
