Inspiring color and design trends for 2015

Trends to consider when choosing window treatment colors for your home.

The word is out; many trend and color organizations have announced their color of the year for 2015. While they may not all agree, the majority of them are announcing some shade of Marsala. But even if the choice is a blue or green, the overall trend we see is a warming of the colors. Colors that are steady, reliable, down to earth, and easy to live with and that will give a home warmth.

Chantilly by Pindler & Pindler.

Pindler is proud to introduce our new Chantilly Book.  Chantilly is a beautiful grouping of drapery laces with a lot of different looks, including both wide width and regular width.  The patterns in Chantilly include traditional Victorian lace; classic and transitional casements, Arts and Crafts inspired lace, and crocheted lace.   The draperies in Chantilly add a bit of romance and elegance to any window.  The wide width laces are designed to be railroaded and seamless, so that when the fabric is turned horizontally, the pattern will be vertical and the curtains can be seamless.

The New Isabelle de Borchgrave Collection.

Fabricut and Belgian artist and sculptor, Isabelle de Borchgrave, reveal a fabrics and trimmings collection to the home furnishings industry. Inspired by her love of textiles, history and fashion, Isabelle and Fabricut transform her dramatic, hand-painted paper dresses and original art into an eclectic offering of prints, wovens, embroideries and trimmings arranged into three vibrant color palettes. Her expressive world view, bold sense of color and intuitive painterly hand creates a charming, one-of-a-kind collection.

“I don’t have to go anywhere to be inspired,” says Isabelle. “I can travel in my library, through color or in my studio. In everyday life, you create more ideas.”

Fabrics featured:
Bench fabric: Context – Chili, Trim: Papermoon – Sunset
Bottom pillow fabric: Cheval – Canyon, Trim: Bobbin – Gold

Top pillow fabric: Borchgrave – Curry, Trim: Colorwrap – Sunset
