Building on the success of his stunning fabric collection, internationally acclaimed celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard introduces a collection of wallcoverings exclusively for Schumacher. Inspired by travels to the most romantic sites on the globe, Martyn has created a collection bursting with bold, saturated colors and gorgeous, artful patterns. Prints in the collection evoke the timeless Ottoman motifs that Martyn witnessed in the graphic screens, painted panels and embellished tile decorating the majestic palaces of Turkey, Morocco and India. With an alluring liveliness, the vibrant wallcoverings, panels and borders showcase a vivid color palette that includes metallic gold, cerulean and fashionable black and white. We just opened up a box of Phillip Jeffries newest samples. Their new collections are so edgy and different! If you are looking to give your space the wow factor, these are must-sees.
The Aviator Collection is unlike anything we have seen before! The wallcovering is “inspired by the vintage design of metal fighter planes. Hand crafted by artisans, a unique pattern of small nail heads is hand screened atop a ground of overlapping metallic paper, reinterpreting the look and feel of plane’s exterior from the golden age of flight. Available in a range of metallic color combnations Aviator has your walls soaring to new heights.
The Wild Woods collection is a “chic interpretation of wood grain…embossed atop a natural bark paper with hits of metallic to exude the look of shimmering bark. Treated with a stain repellent finish, this innovative collection is available in a range of luxurious colorations that will make you go wild.”
Phillip Jeffries also came out with some exciting solid textures.
Above is the Chain Mail Collection. “Jute is hand woven and laminated onto a metallic or colored paper ground for unique texture that marries sophistication with natural texture. Available in twelve metallic and matte colors, plus a stain repellent finish, Chain Mail is THE texture for walls.”
Talk about tailored! The Herringbone Collection is inspired by the bespoke tailoring found in London’s Savile Row. “Classic chevron pattern Herringbone brings a strong geometric statement to the walls in a range of timeless colors. Collection is paper-backed, pre-trimmed and treated with a stain repellent finish for ease in installation. “

Clarke and Clarke Sneak Peak
Duralee, one of the largest textile companies in the U.S., has partnered with Clarke & Clarke, a U.K. based fabric and wallcoverings editor to be the exclusive distributor for their products in the United States. The Clarke & Clarke product is now completely distributed worldwide.
Last week we had the opportunity to meet Duncan Clarke from Clarke &Â Clarke as a part of the Stonemill Design Center’s fall event, “Fall Into Stonemill”. He talked about the development of the company and gave us a sneak peak of the upcoming fabric and wallcovering collections coming to the US in January 2012!
